Fall 2019 - Gen Field Geology (GEOL-2080-01)
Covers basic concepts of geology and field techniques emphasizing interpretation of geologic features in the field and constructing geologic products (e.g. measured sections and geologic maps). Students are expected to be able to identify the common rock forming minerals and common rocks in hand-sample. Weekly field trip required. Prerequisites: GEOL 1100 and at least one other GEOL course.
