Includes classical mechanics, gravitationand heat. Laboratory sessions illustrate principlesstudied. Students receiving credit for PHYS 1110 cannotreceive credit for PHYS 1050, 1210 or 1310. Prerequisite:MATH 1450, 1405 or equivalent.
