Fall 2020 Well Testing (PETE-4225-01)
Covers knowledge of well test interpretation techniques. Theory for well testing
include drawdown and buildup tests, single-rate and multi-rate testing, derivative analysis, wellbore storage, type curve matching, fall off and injectivity, fractured wells, fractured reservoirs, interference and pulse testing, and horizontal well analysis. Prerequisites: PETE 3200. Students must be a Petroleum Engineering major.
