Innovation and Entrepreneurship will give students the innovation tools to develop new products and services and entrepreneurial tools to commercialize a new technology - both essential ingredients in building a successful startup venture. Innovation is the development of novel ideas and technologies such as new products, services, methods, sources of supply. the course will focus on design thinking, a human-centered approach to innovation. The course will also provide students with the entrepreneurial tools to commercialize ideas and bring the innovations to market from opportunity identification to idea development to building a business model and a startup company.
