Provides students withmathematical and logical skills needed to formulate,analyze and interpret quantitative arguments in avariety of settings. Introduces statistics and stresses theuse of a calculator. Prerequisite: grade of C or better inMATH 0921 or Level 2 on the Math Placement Examor Math ACT of 21 or MATH SAT of 600. Note: MATH1000 is neither a prerequisite nor suitable preparationfor MATH 1400 (College Algebra).
