Emphasizes central themes of biology - cell biology, genetics, evolution, ecology - and scientific methodology by focusing on current issues in biology. Fundamental concepts are addressed through classroom and laboratory activities and discussions. This course is intended for non-science majors. Students cannot receive duplicate credit for LIFE 1010 or 1020.
