Spring 2021 Nuclear Engineering (ME-4360-01)
Introduction to the fundamentals of nuclear engineering, including power plant design and the fuel cycle. Topics include the fuel cycle and fuel design, reactor physics, reactor theory and design, reactor thermo-hydraulics, radiation protection and safety, and fuel reprocessing and recycling. Cross listed with ESE 4360. Prerequisites: Completion of the ME Success Curriculum, MATH 2310, ME/ESE 3040, and ME/ARE/ESE 3360.
