Fall 2020 Clinical Toxicology (PHCY-6312-01)
Focuses on biological and pharmacological effects of environmental, chemicals, OTC and prescription drug poisoning cases. Emphasis will be placed on the use of historical, laboratory and clinical data to diagnose and develop clinical management approaches for both acute and chronic poisoning cases. Prerequisites: PHCY 6230, MOLB 3610.

Students must reserve Tuesdays for exams.....................A study of the basic principles employed in thepharmacotherapeutic management of common diseasestates. Includes the pharmacist's role in monitoring drugtherapy of the patient and serving as a drug consultantto the health care team. Prerequisite: grade of C orhigher in PHCY 6251.

Fall 2020 Bus & Prof Communication (COJO-3010-01)
Studies theories and techniques of professional communication activities including interviewing skills, group processes, and professional presentations; for students who are beyond elementary oral communication level. Students develop oral communication skills through projects and presentations. Prerequisite: COJO 1010 or COJO 2010 and junior standing.

Studies how organizations can improve their relationships with their publics. Explores public opinion and how to research audiences. Explains different skills needed in the field, including its relationship to advertising and marketing. Prerequisite: COJO 2100.

Fall 2020 Internship: Oral Communication (COJO-3480-02)
Review and evaluation of approved internship experience. At the conclusion, students must submit a journal containing work samples and a critique of their performance and internship experience. Maximum of 6 hours of internship credit can be used to fulfill requirements of the major. Prerequisites: signed contract and 9 hours in the department.
