Fall 2020 Chamber Music II (MUSC-3480-01)
Designed to provide students with training in the ideal medium of chamber music (small ensembles, such as trio, string quartet, etc.), where they can apply and integrate all elements of their musical knowledge. These include but are not limited to rhythm, intonation, tone-production, blend, musical interpretation, concept of style, etc. Prerequisites: instructor's approval; MUSC1480 and junior standing.

Fall 2020 Rsrch Methods in Comm Dis (SPPA-4750-01)
Deals with scientific investigation of normal, disordered, and intervention aspects of speech, language, and hearing. Topics include: evaluating and synthesizing published research, research writing, research design, and data analysis techniques. The aims are to develop writing competence within the discipline, to create research-aware clinicians, and to introduce students to research careers. Prerequisite: A statistics course.

An introduction to audiology as a profession, with primary focus on screening and diagnostic methods for the clinical evaluation of hearing loss in children and adults. Prerequisite: SPPA 3265 or concurrent enrollment.

Fall 2020 Life Science (LIFE-1020-01)
Students on waitlist must attend first class.Instructor has the right to drop students that do not attendthe first day of class.Concurrent enrollment in EDEL 1430 is required.....................An integrated lab and lecture emphasizing fundamentalprinciples of biology including cell structure and function,genetics, ecology, evolution and organismal biology.Considers applications of these principles to societalissues such as the conservation biodiversity,overpopulation and global environmental changes,biotechnology, and human wellness and disease.Duplicate credit will not be given for LIFE 1000, 1003, or1010. Prerequisites: Elementary Education Majors only;concurrent enrollment in EDCI 2000.

Fall 2020 Genetics (LIFE-3050-01)
Students must enroll in a discussion section....................Introduces principles of heredity and variation in livingorganisms, including a study of the nature of the geneticmaterial and its transmission, influence of heredity andenvironment on the development of individual characters,as well as evolution of organisms and artificial selectionof plant and animal varieties. Emphasizes applicationto today's society. Prerequisites: completion of LIFE1010 and one of LIFE 2022, 2023, or MICR/MOLB2021 with a grade of C or higher in each.

Presents fundamental concepts in population and ecosystem ecology. to both majors and non-majors. Emphasizes basic principles and their use in manipulated ecosystems. Prerequisite: completion of LIFE 1010 and one of LIFE 2022, 2023, MICR/MOLB 2021, or MICR/MOLB 2240 with a grade of C or higher in each.
