    Increases counselor competency and skills with diverse clients. Prerequisite: admission to the UW counseling program.

  • Spring 2021 Ag Communications Sr Project (AGRI-4975-01)

    A baccalaureate degree capstone experience incorporating self assessments of student learning, reflective, writings, and an analysis, synthesis and evaluation of the agricultural communications curriculum. Students will develop and present a personalized, comprehensive, professional portfolio. Prerequisites: senior standing in agricultural communication & WB or COM2.

  • Spring 2021 Supervised Internship (CNSL-5580-02)

    Provides a capstone clinical experience, preparing graduates to enter the practice of counseling PK-12 schools, mental health settings, and student affairs services in higher education. Students engage in professional counseling activities at approved placement sites. Prerequisites: graduate standing, CNSL 5310, 5320 and consent of the designated field setting authority.

  • Spring 2021 Dissertation Research (FDSC-5980-01)

    Designed for students who are involved in research for their dissertation project. Also used for students whose coursework is complete and are writing their dissertation. Prerequisites: enrolled in a graduate degree program.

  • Spring 2021 SOWK Practice III: Communities (SOWK-3650-01)

    Teaches engagement, assessment, intervention and evaluation with organizations, communities and institutions within the generalist social work perspective. Prerequisites: SOWK 3630 with a C or better; SOWK 3540 pre or concurrent; admitted social work major status.

  • Spring 2021 SW Methods II: Groups (SOWK-3640-01)

    Focuses on group work within the generalist social work perspective, covering theoretical perspectives, ethics and values, and problem-solving skills applied to task and treatment groups. Prerequisites: SOWK 3630 and 3530 with a C or better and admitted major status.

  • Spring 2021 BSW Field Seminar II (SOWK-4992-01)

    Develops and supports student integration of classroom and field practicum experiences in a final demonstration of competencies for the beginning practitioner. Prerequisite: taken concurrently with SOWK 4990 Field Practicum.

  • Spring 2021 Soc Policy:Human Rights Policy (SOWK-4850-01)

    Examines human rights, social welfare policy, and social, political and economic justice, as well as systems that oppress and create injustice, both in the US and internationally. A focus of will be the analysis of social welfare policy as it affects social justice issues. Prerequisites: SOWK 4060, ECON 1010, and admitted social work major status.

  • Spring 2021 Intro to Petrology (GEOL-2020-01)

    Students must enroll in a laboratory section

  • Spring 2021 Laboratory (GEOL-2020-11)

    Introduces the study of igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic rocks in hand specimen. Covers textural and mineralogic classification of rocks and the tectonic environments in which they occur. Field trip required. Prerequisite: a grade of C or better in GEOL 2010.

  • Spring 2021 Legal Writing II: S3 (LAW-6260-03)

    A study of the theory and procedure of appellate advocacy, an examination of abstracts of record, research and drafting of appellate briefs, and the presentation of oral argument.

  • Spring 2021 Technical Writing in Professns (ENGL-4010-02)

    Prerequisites: WA and WB; Junior Standing
