  • Spring 2021 Fund of Petroleum Engineering (PETE-2050-01)

    General introduction to petroleum engineering, including petroleum geology, exploration, reservoir rocks, and fluid flow through porous media, drilling fundamentals, completion technology, well logging and testing, methods of production, stimulation methods, enhanced oil recovery, reserves and economics. Prerequisites: grade of C or better in both MATH 2205 and PETE 1060.

  • Spring 2021 Public Speaking (COJO-2010-01)

    Beginning public speaking course. Students will develop foundational oral, digital and written communication skills. Emphasizes message construction, performance and critique in public communication settings. Includes speech preparation, listening, audience analysis, writing strategies, digital communication, critical thinking, language/nonverbal behavior and various speaking formats. (Offered fall, spring and summer). Prerequisite: Successful completion of a COM1 course.

  • Spring 2021 Architectural Design Studio II (ARE-2600-01)

    Sophomore-level architectural design in a project-based learning environment using Building Information Modeling (BIM). The course builds upon skills learned in ARE 1600, with a new emphasis on building materials and construction methods. Prerequisite: ARE 1600

  • Spring 2021 Cognitive Dev (PSYC-4150-80)

    Examines cognitive development from infancy to adolescence. Explores, through lecture, discussion and projects, major theories and current empirical research on cognitive development, as well as implications for social and educational policies concerning children. Prerequisite: A grade of C or better in 9 hours of psychology, including child psychology course. Casper students must enroll in the Casper section 50.

  • Spring 2021 Discussion (LIFE-3600-20)

    Focuses on cell structure, cell function and the regulation of cell processes. Examines many levels of organization, ranging from single molecules and individual cells to multi-cellular systems and the whole organism. Discussion section is required. Prerequisite: completion of LIFE 1010 and one of LIFE 2022, 2023, MICR/MOLB 2021, or MICR/MOLB 2240 with a grade of C or higher in each.

  • Spring 2021 Laboratory (PHYS-1220-10)

    Follows PHYS 1210 and continues introduction to physics with calculus for engineering students. Includes electricity, magnetism and heat. Laboratories illustrate principles studied. Students receiving credit for PHYS 1220 cannot receive credit for PHYS 1050, 1120, or 1320. Prerequisites: grades of C or higher in MATH 2200, 2205 and concurrent enrollment in MATH 2210.

  • Spring 2021 Laboratory (PHYS-1120-16)

    Follows PHYS 1110 and completes introduction to physics without calculus. Includes electricity, magnetism, optics and modern physics. Laboratory sessions illustrate principles studied. Students receiving credit in PHYS 1120 cannot receive credit in PHYS 1050, 1220 or 1320. Prerequisite: PHYS 1110.
