Spring 2021 Severe and Unusual Weather (ATSC-2200-01)
A nontechnical course on severe and unusual weather events that occur around the globe. The focus of the course is on a wide range of weather events that have profound impacts on societies, economies, and cultures, and the material is presented in a qualitative manner such that it is highly accessible by students coming from all backgrounds. This course fulfills 3 credits of the USP 2015 PN - Physical & Natural World requirement.

Spring 2021 DNP: Adv Health Assmnt for NPs (NURS-5824-80)
Builds upon basic nursing assessment skills; includes a human cadaver lab experience to enhance learners' understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology, progressing to didactic, hands-on practice, and check-offs of student ability to perform client interviewing and advanced physical assessment techniques. Prepares learners for the clinical decision-making required of nurse practitioners. Prerequisites: Admission in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program and successful progression in the DNP program of study.

Spring 2021 Introduction to Global Studies (INST-2350-01)
Taking an interdisciplinary approach to the study of globalization, the course explores the links between trade, consumption, civil society, social justice, and ecological integrity. Prerequisite: none.

Spring 2021 Equine Reproduction (ANSC-4132-01)
Introduces methods of manipulating reproduction within equine management systems. Includes artificial insemination, diagnosis of pregnancy, induction and control of estrus and ovulation, parturition, embryo transfer, and control and prevention of equine reproductive diseases. Prerequisite: ANSC 4120 and 3150. (Normally offered spring semester)

Designed for students who are involved in research for their thesis project. Also used for students whose coursework is complete and are writing their thesis. Prerequisite: enrollment in a graduate degree program.

Allows in-depth exploration of topics in pharmaceutical sciences, at the graduate level, that are mutually agreed upon by the student and faculty. Prerequisite: consent of Instructor.

Spring 2021 Fund Aging/Hum Dev (FCSC-2110-40)
Discusses aging as a lifelong process, involving interrelationships of the individual and his or her environment. Includes future demographic trends, family health care, social policy and mass media. Prerequisite: PSYC 1000 or SOC 1000.

Spring 2021 Microbial and Synthetic Biol (MOLB-5057-01)
Students will present current research in the fields of Molecular Microbiology and Synthetic Biology, which will be followed by a critical discussion moderated by the course instructors. Students will explore the principles of research design by critical reading and discussion of scientific literature. Prerequisite: Graduate Standing.
