  • Spring 2021 Laboratory (STAT-2070-16)

    Presents central ideas of descriptive statistics and statistical inference, as applied to questions in social sciences. Includes graphs, averages, sampling, estimation, hypothesis-testing and relationships between variables. Introduces associated computer skills. Credit cannot be earned in more than one of STAT 2010, 2050, 2070, 4220, 5000. Prerequisite: grade of C or better in MATH 1000, 1400 or equivalent.

  • Spring 2021 Reinstated Student Success (ACES-1105-02)

    This class is for Academically Reinstated students. The class is designed to provide reinstated students with the necessary skills to succeed at the University and beyond. The class is highly self-reflective; skills covered include time management, learning styles, life-roles, self-motivation, and more.

  • Spring 2021 Problems: (ZOO-4900-52)

    For advanced students. Studies some particular problem or phase of zoology, or presents reviews and discussions of current advancement in zoological investigations. Content is arranged to suit individual needs of students. Prerequisites: LIFE 2020 and other courses necessary to pursue the problem selected; prior written consent of the instructor.

  • Spring 2021 Valuation (FIN-5890-40)

    An arrangement whereby a student is permitted to develop an advanced phase of finance not offered in the formally structured courses or to investigate a finance problem, a written report is required. Prerequisite: 9 hours in finance and consent of instructor.

  • Spring 2021 Molecular Biological Methods (MOLB-3320-01)

    Integrated discussion and hands-on experience with modern bioinformatic and wet lab-based molecular, genetic and biochemical methods. Completion of the course should provide students with enhanced theoretical understanding and practical knowledge of many crucial modern computational and molecular biological techniques. Normally offered in Fall semester.

  • Spring 2021 Communications in Mol. Biology (MOLB-4053-1)

    Students will explore current topics in molecular biosciences and their applications in biotechnology and medicine. The course will develop student’s abilities to read and discuss scientific literatures and present the topics in different oral/written formats, including oral presentations and scientific articles for public, research proposals and research-based business plans.

    Provide laboratory and other related experiences that enable students to accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications.

  • Spring 2021 JTerm:Technical Writing in Pro (ENGL-4010-50)

    This Winter 2020-2021 section of ENGL 4010 offers an accelerated, online approach to technical communication. This version of ENGL 4010 gives you a chance to extend your knowledge of technical writing conventions and genres, investigate real-life activities of professional writers, expand your skills with technologies to support professional writing, refine job application materials, and develop your written and oral interpersonal communication skills. Though parts of course are self-paced, you should expect to contribute to course materials and discussions on a regular basis from Dec. 28 until the end of the course (Jan. 24).
