About your Learning Coach
I love adventuring, skiing, teaching, and coaching. I have kayaked in Alaska, bicycle toured in Europe, and skied in Turkey and I bring the adventurous spirit to my teaching. I am looking forward to our journey together and know it will bring us both many great rewards.
I am a volunteer Co-Head Coach or the Men's and Women's Nordic Ski team at UW (http://www.uwyo.edu/ski). We have practice weekday mornings and afternoons and on weekends and I will be gone almost every weekend until March at races. I spend between 20-60 volunteer hours/week coaching because it feeds my soul!
I am also the Co-Chair of the Shepard Symposium on Social Justice (shepardsymposium.org). The dates for this event are April 11-14. Please come! Participation, presentation and volunteerism are all welcome!
Email is the best way to reach me, cboggs@uwyo.edu and I will usually respond very quickly but please do not expect an immediate response between 8pm and 8am or on Saturdays. I can be reached via phone or text at (307) 363-0946.
