  • Fall 2020 Thesis Research (COSC-5960-05)

    Graduate level course designed for students who are involved in research for their thesis project. Also used for students whose coursework is complete and are writing their thesis. Prerequisites: enrolled in a graduate degree program.

  • Fall 2020 Lit for Children (EDEL-2280-02)

    A survey course, the purpose of which is to prepare prospective elementary teachers and library-media specialists to provide knowledgeable service in the use of print and non-print materials for children. Includes study of evaluative criteria, wide reading, viewing and listening as well as discussion of literature for children. Prerequisite: successful completion of ENGL 1010, and sophomore status; education majors only.

  • Fall 2020 Problem Solving (MATH-1000-01)

    Students who miss both of the first two class meetingswill be administratively dropped.....................For students not planning to enroll in MATH 1400, 1450 or acalculus course. Examines modern topics chosen for theirapplicability and accessibility. Provides students withmathematical and logical skills needed to formulate,analyze and interpret quantitative arguments in avariety of settings. Introduces statistics and stresses theuse of a calculator. Prerequisite: grade of C or better inMATH 0921 or Level 2 on the Math Placement Examor Math ACT of 21 or MATH SAT of 600. Note: MATH1000 is neither a prerequisite nor suitable preparationfor MATH 1400 (College Algebra).

    Directed research in mechanical engineering. Prerequisite: senior or graduate standing in engineering.

  • Fall 2020 Musical Theatre Voice Lesson (THEA-2340-02)

    Solo instruction in singing techniques and performance styles associated with Musical Theatre. Includes demonstration, brief lecture, discussion, and active participation through singing, analyzing, movement, and performance. Prerequisites: none.
